DEFINITIONS 

For purposes of these rules and regulations, the following definitions shall apply: 

MEMBER = an active member is defined as an adult who is duly elected to membership and is in good standing

FAMILY = household including member or members with unmarried children

HOUSE = the enclosed building and structures of the Club exclusive of the pump house unless otherwise specified

POOL AREA = main pool, intermediate pool and pool aprons

POOL APRON = first eight (8) feet of all pool perimeters

KIDDY WATER PARK AREA = play fountain and its enclosure

GROUNDS = those outdoor areas of the Club which are not considered part of any pool area or fountain

ADULT = any person 18 years of age or older

CERTIFIED SWIMMER = a person who has passed the following test under the supervision of a Club lifeguard and is permitted to use the main pool beyond the 4 ½ foot marker which is designated by rope:

            a.  must swim one non-stop length of pool (25 meters), and

            b.  must float on back for one minute, and

            c.  must tread water three (3) minutes

GUEST = a day-visitor of a member

HOUSE GUEST = a short-term visitor residing in a member’s home

PATIO GUEST = a visitor brought to the Club with a member for a social function, drinks or meal, with visitation limited to areas beyond the pool aprons

MEMBERS AND THEIR GUESTS ARE EXPECTED TO OBSERVE THE RULES OF THE CLUB.

 

CLUB RULES AND REGULATIONS 

1.  Persons eligible to enter the Club:

            a.  Any member.  However, all children under 12 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.

            b.  Guests accompanied by a member.

2.  All members and their guests must enter the Club through the bathhouse and be checked in by the

     Bathhouse Attendant.

3.  Guests:

a.  Guest fees are $8.00 per guest per weekday and $10.00 per guest per day on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays (Memorial Day, 4th of July, Victory Day, and Labor Day).  Guests will be admitted at half the guest fee after 4:00 PM.

b.  No guest fees are charged for children under 2 years of age.

c.  One ten-person guest pass card per membership may be purchased each season for $75.00.                   

     Unused guest pass cards are non-refundable.

d.  Children’s parties may be held on weekdays and Saturdays only.  They must be held in the      designated area and reserved with the management.  Members are responsible for cleaning party area at conclusion.  Fees are $5.00 per non-member child on weekdays and $10.00 per non-member child on Saturdays.

e.  House guest fees are $20.00 per person for seven (7) consecutive days and must be registered with the management.

            f.   No person may be admitted as a guest more than four (4) visits per month.

            g.  Guest privileges may be suspended at any time by the General Manager when the safety and comfort of members becomes an issue.

4.  Baby-sitters/Nannies/Parent-Helpers at the pool:

            a.  Parents must fill out a registration form for all baby-sitters/nannies/parent-helpers.

            b.  All non-member baby-sitters/nannies/parent-helpers are subject to the general rules.

                 Guest fees apply when accompanying a parent.

c.  A member may fill out a registration form and pay a fee of $75.00 for the season for a full-time babysitter.

d.  Baby-sitters must be at least 13 years old and if under 15 years old must be responsible to a parent or legal guardian present at the Club.

            e.  All baby-sitters must remain with the children at all times.

5.  All children under 14 years of age not accompanied by an adult must leave the Club premises by 6:00 PM.

 POOL RULES AND REGULATIONS 

REPEATED DISREGARD OF POOL RULES WILL RESULT IN LOSS OF POOL PRIVILEGES. 

1.    Spitting and spouting of water are prohibited.

2.    No eating and drinking on pool aprons or in the bathhouse.

3.    No shoes or sneakers allowed on pool aprons.

4.    Running and roughhousing are strictly prohibited.

5.    Appropriate swimming attire is required in the pool.

6.    Gum chewing in the pools and on the pool aprons is prohibited.

7.    All children using the play fountain must be attended by an adult or teenager responsible for such child within the confines of the enclosure.  Children are not permitted to stand on or block the fountain sprays.

8.    Children certified for the main pool are not allowed in the play fountain.

9.    No calling for help unless assistance is needed.

10.  No toys, beach balls, flotation devices, or other paraphernalia allowed in the main pool.

11.  Approved swim aides and flotation devices will be allowed in the intermediate pool with direct adult supervision.

12.  Toys in the kiddy area must be removed daily or subject to disposal.

13.  Only persons 16 years of age and older are permitted in the pool during Adult Swimming

       period.  Adult Swim is the first twenty (20) minutes of each hour at the lifeguard’s discretion. 

14.  Adult members bringing toilet-trained toddlers into the main pool must remain in the shallow end.

15.  Only swim diapers may be worn in the play fountain and intermediate pool.  Only toilet-trained

       children are allowed in the main pool.

16.  Children who are not toilet-trained are required to wear swim diapers in the play fountain and    

        intermediate pool.

17.  Only certified swimmers are allowed beyond the 4-½ foot marker in the main pool.

18.  The diving area of the main pool is for diving board use only.  Swimmers are not allowed to

       congregate or linger in the section after their dive.

19.  Only one person allowed on the slide at a time in sitting position only.  Swimmers are not

       allowed to congregate or linger at the bottom of the slide.

20.  Lifeguards will enforce all pool rules and regulations.

 

HOUSE RULES AND REGULATIONS 

1.  The use of the clubhouse and grounds are reserved for members of the Club unless otherwise

     authorized by the Board of Governors or its designee.

2.  All functions conducted at the clubhouse must be reserved on the Club calendar.  Entries on

     the calendar are to be coordinated through the General Manager.  No dates will be confirmed

     until a contract and/or a deposit is received.

3.  Rules relative to the number of patio guests are flexible.  The intent is that no member will be

     inconvenienced because of patio guests.  Members who entertain patio guests at the Club are

     expected to use good judgment.

4.  The working areas of the bar, kitchen, snack bar and mechanical areas are restricted to

     employees of the Club or to other specifically authorized individuals.

5.  Footwear and tops must be worn inside the clubhouse.

6.  There are changing benches for babies in the bathhouse and in a designated area in the kiddy water park.

     Do not use picnic tables or their benches for changing diapers.

7.  The clubhouse restrooms are reserved for adults except during dinner service.

8.  Children are allowed on the deck and in the clubhouse only when accompanied by an adult and during Club sanctioned activities.

9.  The clubhouse and deck tables are reserved for waitress or waiter served meals and beverage on Thursday and Friday evenings.

10. No children are allowed at the bar.

 

GROUND RULES AND REGULATIONS 

1.  The Club is not responsible for articles stolen or damaged while you are at the Club. The Club urges all members and guests to lock their automobiles and to see to it that their personal property is secured.

2.  The Club has provided a bicycle rack and encourages people who use it to secure their bicycles properly.

3.  Food is to be eaten only in designated areas (grassy area, deck and clubhouse). No food is allowed on the pool apron.

4.  No alcoholic beverages or any glass containers may be brought onto the Club grounds

5.  In order to keep the grounds clean, neat, and presentable to the Club members, all members are held responsible for the cleaning of their own areas and debris. 

MEMBERS ARE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR ACTIONS OF THEIR CHILDREN AND GUESTS IN THIS REGARD.

                       

ANNUAL DUES 

Annual Dues for a Family Membership are $850.00 and are collected quarterly in payments of $212.50 each as follows:

Annual dues for an Adult Couple Membership are $590.00 with quarterly payments of $147.50 each. Annual dues for a Single Membership are $340.00 with quarterly payments of $85.00 each being paid in full by July 1st.

A one-time capital improvements fee is assessed during the first year of membership as follows:  Family Membership:$250.00, Adult Couple Membership: $175.00, Single Membership: $100.00.

All dues must be paid in full by July 1st of each summer season.

 

ANY VIOLATION OF THESE RULES AND REGULATIONS MAY RESULT IN TERMINATION OF MEMBERSHIP WITH NO REFUND OF DUES.

Pre Season: Memorial Day Weekend until school is out. Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays & Memorial Day 12:00-7:00 PM, Mondays through Thursdays 3:00-6:00 PM 

Pool Season: School is out through Labor Day. Kiddy Area Daily 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM. Intermediate Pool Daily 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM. Main Pool Monday – Thursday 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM, Friday 11:00 AM –10:00 PM, Saturday & Sunday 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM
