For the 2021 season all members WILL NEED a Resy Account BUT reservations will not be needed to enter the The Greenwich Club.   We will be using Resy to check you in and out of the club.

Setting up your Resy account

How do I set up my account with Resy?
  • Resy is a standard App that can be downloaded from the App store for iPhone and Android devices.
  • Download the App <Resy (Restaurants Reservations) > and create an account by using the ONE email address we have on file for your membership.
  • IMPORTANT TIP: only one account / email address per membership will be available in Resy, so ensure you select the email we have on file for your membership. Multiple members in your family can download the app BUT you all must use and login with the ONE email that we have on file for you.
  • TIP: ensure you enable “push notifications” for the app so that we can notify you with important updates, such as when new spots open up during your preferred time slots or if there are drink / food specials at the Club.
What if I don’t want to use the app or I don’t have a smart phone?
  • You can use the Resy website to reserve a spot at the club if you don’t have a smart phone.
  • To create an account and make a reservation, go to to Resy.com and click “create an account” then login.

How do I add a photo to my profile picture?
  • Using the app, navigate to The Greenwich Club.
  • Click on the photo icon in the top left corner.
  • Click “Add a photo”
  • IMPORTANT TIP:  All members will need a valid photo ID/license or have an approved photo in their Resy profile image to gain access to the club. We suggest you upload a photo of your family/couple/single that are on your membership. Everyone has to be in one photo, no sunglasses, no hats and easy to see your faces. A close up selfie will work.

How do I make a reservation on Resy?
  • Using the app, navigate to The Greenwich Club.
  • Select your party size, which includes each person in your party, including infants. You need to make sure you do not book more than your club membership allows otherwise Resy will delete your reservation before your reserved time.
    • NOTE: You can also adjust your party size at anytime through the Resy App if your party size changes. For Example if you made a reservation for 4 members total (that is your allowed amount per your membership) but at the last minute one member can’t come to enjoy the club; update your reservation through your Resy App so others can be notified that your timeslot is available.  This is done on your reservation list through your Resy App.
  • Because of limited capacity its VERY IMPORTANT to put the correct number of people in your party when making the reservation. 
  • Select your Date and a confirmation will be emailed immediately.
How do I make a adjustments to my reservation on Resy? Through Resy App:
  • On the app, tap on the silhouette icon on the upper left corner of your screen.
  • Then, tap the reservation you want to edit under ‘Reservations’. It should show you a pop up window on the bottom of your screen.
  • On the upper right hand corner of that pop up window, you should see ‘Change or Cancel’. After tapping that it will show you a screen with ‘Cancellation Policy’, tap ‘Change’ below that.
  • After that you can then change the number of guests on the top part of the screen along with the date.
  • If you’re increasing your reservation size and not seeing it for the same date and time during this step, we be full for that available timeslot.

 

  Through Resy Desktop:
  • Please go to www.resy.com and log in first.
  • Then, click on the silhouette icon just beside ‘Party of __’ on the upper right hand side of your screen and click on ‘Reservations’ on the drop down menu.
  • Select the reservation you wish to change and click on ‘Change Reservation’.
  • If you’re increasing your reservation size and not seeing it for the same date and time during this step, we be full for that available timeslot.
How do I make a adjustments to my reservation on Resy? Through Resy App:
  • If the reservation is not checked in from the front gate staff member, members ARE able to cancel once the reservation time has passed.
  • When you click your picture, it may not show in your upcoming reservations, but when you tap “See All” it will be there. From there, you can cancel.
  • Then, tap the reservation you want to cancel under ‘Reservations’. It should show you a pop up window on the bottom of your screen.
  • On the upper right hand corner of that pop up window, you should see ‘Change or Cancel’. After tapping that it will show you a screen with ‘Cancellation Policy’, tap ‘Change’ below that.
On the app, tap on the silhouette icon on the upper left corner of your screen.Click on the silhouette from the Resy app, and Reservations LOOKS empty:

Once you click See All, you will see all your reservations. From there, you can click the 3 dots and cancel your reservation. How do I make a reservation for Dinner on The Deck?
  • Dinner On The Deck will be every Friday night.
  • Times for reservations are 6:00pm, 6:15pm, 6:30pm, 6:45pm
  • You are able to book reservations 3 days in advance.  On Tuesday (starting at 7:30am) you can book for that Friday night.
  • If multiple members would like to sit together at the same table for Dinner On The Deck, then have one member make the reservation under their name for the appropriate amount of people (up to six people).
    • NOTE: Because of limited capacity its VERY IMPORTANT to put the correct number of people in your party when making the reservation.  Please cancel if you are unable to come through the Resy App prior to the start of your Dinner on The Deck timelsot to allow for others to be notified /”Notify” that a reservation timeslot is available. You will not be able to cancel/adjust a reservation once the timeslot has started so do this well in advance.
How do I view my reservations and also my “Notify” timelsots?

Reservation Cancellations and Standby List

What happens if I need to cancel a reservation for Dinner on the Deck or Grill Nights?
  • If you make a reservation and won’t be able to attend please log in to the Resy app or website and cancel your reservation as soon as possible.
Do you accept walk-ins for Dinner on the Deck and Grill Nights?
  • YES!, You are also always welcome to come to the gate to see if we are full. If we are full for Dinner on the Deck you can do take out.
  • If the grills have not been fully booked you can then use the grills on grill nights.
What does “Notify” mean?
  • Think of “Notify” as standby or waitlist.
  • This means the timelot is now full. If you select “Notify” then you will be notified if another member cancels their reservation and the timeslot becomes available. You will also be notified if another member leaves early from their timeslot and therefore we are not at full capacity and can let other members in as standby / “Notify”.  Its first come first serve, so be sure to confirm your reservation ASAP as all members who selected “notify” will be notified at once.
  • You are also always welcome to come to the gate to see if we are full.
Can I be on a standby list if the time I want is full?
  • Yes, put yourself on “Notify” and we will let you know if a timeslot opens.  This is all done within the Resy App / Website.
How can I reserve a timeslot if I get a push notification that there is availability. 
  • If a spot opens up you will be sent a notification through the Resy App. Notifications will go out to everyone simultaneously.
  • The first person to “accept” the spot will be confirmed and can make their way to the club immediately.
  • Once you are notified of an opening, the spot will go to the first person to respond through the app.
  • IMPORTANT TIP: enable “push notifications” in the Resy app to ensure you don’t miss any standby notifications.

Can I bring guests to the club?
  • Yes, guests will be allowed.
Can I register a Nanny / Babysitter in my account?
